BUFFALO, NY - Personal Touch Food Service, Inc. (www.ptfswny.com), a leading provider of contract food service management, has announced that its senior leadership team will remain in place following the unexpected passing of CEO and owner James R. McHugh. McHugh founded the company in 1985.
David A. Cervi, who joined Personal Touch Food Service in 1986, will continue as president, a position he assumed in January 2012. As president, Cervi will develop corporate objectives and strategies, foster client and community relations and oversee daily operations through his administrative management team. He will report to a newly formed board of directors led by McHugh family members, who retain ownership of the company.
The company also announced that Glenn A. Butler will continue in his role as vice president of operations and business development. Joining Personal Touch Food Service in January 2012 in this role, he will be responsible for the operation and performance of the company's food service units and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion. Butler has been a professional in the food service industry for more than 34 years, serving in positions of leadership with Service Systems Corp., Marriott, Sodexo and, most recently, McCullagh Coffee in Buffalo where he was vice president of sales and marketing.
